30 years of exceptional decking
Mayfield Decking, Passionate About Wildlife
The Mayfield Group are passionate about wildlife conservation and protecting our beautiful beaches, countryside and environment. We work closely with several national charities to support environmental causes. Our uPVC sundecks are made from up to 80% recycled raw materials. Using recycled materials does not affect the quality in any way and they carry the same structural benefits as virgin materials. so we believe there is no reason to be using other plastics and composites to create decking. Our sundecks are made to be 100% recyclable, which sets our range apart from other sundeck producers. Any offcuts from our installations are reprocessed back into raw materials which are then reintroduced back into the manufacturing stream.
We use recycled materials in our products as a conscious measure to improve our environment as we value the world we live in. You can find out more about our production process and the steps we take to reduce our impact to the planet in our Environmental Statement.
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust
Since 2005, The Mayfield Group has sponsored The Bumblebee Conservation Trust. We continue to work closely with the charity to raise funds for this important cause. In 2012, Mike made the decision to cycle to work two days a week as a conscious effort to reduce his vehicle carbon footprint. 7 years later, Mike has saved approximately 6160kg of CO2e from entering the atmosphere.
Surfers Against Sewage
Starting life in Poole, The Mayfield Group is proud to be a Dorset business and the managing team want to help preserve Dorset’s stunning countryside and beaches. We have started showing our support to the Surfers Against Sewage – a campaign that hopes to tackle plastic pollution and protect the UK’s coastlines for all to enjoy safely and sustainably.
